About Us

The Historical Association of Deutsche Bank was founded on June 12, 1991 as a non-profit organization and has around 1,800 members.

The objectives of the Historical Association are to:

• draw attention to the history of banking and describe the political, economic and cultural environment in which banks operate
• present interrelations between banking and economic history, above all the pioneering innovations that sustainably influenced economic and social changes
• illustrate how Deutsche Bank’s specific identity developed
• foster team spirit among employees and strengthen their identification with the company and its global operations.
